ABOUT ME

Hollie Stockdale BSN, RN, CLCCertified Lactation Consultant 

Hi, I’m Hollie. 

As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), I have completed the leading national breastfeeding certification in the United States. In addition, I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with years of experience.

I consider myself a lifelong learner, so I’m constantly working to improve my skills and expand my knowledge base. Currently, I’m working to obtain extra educational hours and patient experience that will qualify me as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Exam. 

I am married with three beautiful children. My interest in breastfeeding support began while nursing my first child. I experienced a number of challenges, but was unable to find the accessible breastfeeding support I needed. During that time, I self educated on proper technique. I also developed strategies for maintaining milk supply and returning to work. 

I successfully breastfed for over twelve months with my second and third children. During my combined forty-plus months of breastfeeding my children, I dealt with mastitis, clogged milk-ducts, thrush (yeast infections in mother and baby), and nursing through a lip tie. I even managed pumping and hand expression while working twelve hour shifts as a nurse.

Because of these experiences, I can offer you breastfeeding advice that is both clinical and practical. My goal is to support and sustain mothers so they can meet their breastfeeding goals.
